Oh my..GDA!

Annyeonghaseyo, Hallyu Wave has officially swept Malaysia! Oh my god, the most prestigious awards ceremony ever in Korea is finally taking place right here in our hot and sunny country. Yes, Golden Disk Awards 2013 will be held at Sepang International Circuit on 15 and 16 January 2013. I swear if I don’t go for this, I’m going to be regretting the whole of 2013.

The day I found out that it was in Malaysia, I almost died. My heart skipped a beat as I was having thoughts of finally seeing my lovable idols live, and yes, in person! Being a fangirl, trust me, this is the happiest news one can receive!

Since I’m so hyped up about this event, I’ll share a picture of my sister who probably looks a little like SNSD’s Yoona. [Since I don’t think I look like any K-Pop stars… boo hoo. ;(] 

Speaking of which, Golden Disk Awards features all artists from rookie groups to the Kings and Queens of the Hallyu Wave. To be honest, I am the ultimate K-Pop fanatic as most of you guys already know and watching these artists performing right before my eyes would be a dream come true. All this while, I have to rely on pictures, videos and fancams uploaded on Youtube to see my idols performance.

Yes, the excitement can be felt but I know it’s never going to be the same as being in the venue itself. With Nuffnang’s contest, I think this marks the end of me being jealous of those fans in the video if I win the tickets for Golden Disk Awards! Not to scare you, but I do watch reruns of these Korean awards show because somehow, I feel as if I’m reliving the experience every time I do.

Who I can’t wait to see?

Who’s That Girl Search by Clinique!

Uh-huh, you read that right! :) Clinique is back with another search after their famed Star Tour, and this one is called Who’s That Girl Search, in partnership with CloveTwo. It is similar to the Star Tour, with a makeover and a “Snap and Win” online voting contest later on, but the best thing about the search this time, is that it is absolutely free of charge.

Yup! All you need to do is head out to the nearest Clinique counter, request for a Who’s That Girl Search makeover and you’ll have the options of choosing from four different make-ups for the different personalities. They have Fashionably Flirty (for the fashionistas out there *squeals* ), Downtown Cool, Classic Chic or Laid-Back Luxe.

I had my make over done today and after it, I am nothing but impressed! I chose the Fashionably Flirty one as I think it suits me and the skirt I was wearing (as described in their brochure). Haha, I’ll attach pictures of the brochures and then you have read up to see which styles suit you best, yea? :) So, anyway, I really liked how Carol who did my make up, she was very sweet and personal. In the sense, that she took the time and effort to talk and explain about the products used and what suits my face, as well.

And oh, after the make over, you’ll have to take two shots of yourself (one close up and a full body one). And after that, upload them to http://clovetwo.com/contest/cliniquewhosthatgirl/.

Watermelon Nail Art x [Sally Hansen’s Funky + Chic Contest]

Hi girls! I realised it’s been some time since I lasted posted a nail art or even swatches. :O I haven’t even done the swatches for OPI Not Like The Movies. Pardon me, I have been busy with studies and a nail art contest by Sally Hansen Malaysia. Yea, I’ve been designing a nail art which suits the theme given; Funky + Chic. In the end, I decided on a watermelon inspired nails since I’m all for cute, mini food accessories.

So so so, what do you think of the design?! Pweety? Funky? Chic? :)

If you had to pick one out of the four nails, which one is your favourite? I have to heart the first one from the left. That really looks like a slice of watermelon. I didn’t want to create a similar design for each nail as I thought it would be too boring and predictable. Hence, you get this. :D
