Shout-Out : XIXILI Stand Up For Pink Campaign 2016

Come this weekend, do join me and XIXILI in their annual breast cancer awareness campaign 2016 themed Stand Up For Pink. The campaign will be held at Ground Floor, South Court, Mid Valley Megamall from 28th September to 2nd October 2016. The word cancer is a strong word, which can evoke many feelings in a person especially if you have been through yourself or you have a loved one who went through it. However, for many others, there is a lack of awareness of what breast cancer  actually is.

Hence, this campaign aims to raise awareness and educate on breast cancer, empower women to take charge of their total being and to support through fundraising for NGO partner, Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) through various activities and rewards by the campaign partners.

This year marks the 11th year run of XIXILI’s breast cancer awareness campaign, a cause closed to XIXILI as a lingerie brand to remind Malaysian women to take charge on their breast health and be breast aware through their monthly Breast Self-Examination (BSE) and yearly Clinical Breast Examination (CBE). Every year, XIXILI promotes breast cancer awareness through education and a consistent reminder for women of all ages to practice their monthly Breast Self-Examination (BSE). BSE can be performed at home on a monthly basis.
