EAT : Introducing Caffe Benne’s Mangotella series

For a limited time only,  Caffe Bene Malaysia’s latest seasonal menu will definitely bring excitement to the lovers of Nutella chocolate and the mango fruits! This time around the seasonal menu explores the possibility of marrying these two flavours with a series called the Mangotella. There are a total of four different seasonal items introduced, where we welcomed two new gelato flavours as well – Yogurt Gelato and Nutella Gelato!

Mango Yogurt Bingsu | RM29.90

This icy delicious, Mango Yogurt Bingsu is topped with juicy mango cubes and the seasonal Yogurt Gelato. If you’re a fan of yogurt flavoured gelato, like I am, you’ll definitely love this new gelato flavour. The combination of the mango cubes, coupled with the yogurt gelato gives a very flavourful taste sensation.

Mangotella Bingsu | RM29.90

I believe when Caffe Bene Malaysia came up with this bingsu, it was definitely inspired by the love of Nutella. To the fans of Nutella, you will not be disappointed with this Mangotella Bingsu. This is the absolute dream combination; icy cold bingsu with Nutella, mixed nuts and cookies crumble base before finishing it with sweet mango cubes and topped with our seasonal Nutella gelato. The mixed nuts and the cookies crumble base give the bingsu the texture as you scoop of mouthful of it, along with the rich Nutella gelato.

By the way, did you actually realise that there is a certain technique or way to eating the bingsu? I had no idea that you were actually supposed to mix them all up together! All these while, I have been eating them layer by layer! Here is the guide to eating it the right way.

Mangotella Waffle | RM17.90

For the dessert lovers who prefer a less icy treat, can give this Mangotella Waffle a try. It’s warm Belgium waffle topped with sweet mango chunks, almond slices and my favourite yogurt gelato. Just when you think it cannot get any better, the sweet treat is made better when drizzled with hot-fudgey Nutella sauce. YUMS!

Mangotella Smoothie | RM11.90

I like to think that this Mangotella Smoothie is made for those who loved to drink, rather than chew on the icy bingsu. If I just describe the kind of person you are, then you would love this. This smooth creamy drink has a unique combination of sweet mango and indulgent Nutella. I found that the mango taste was actually more prominent than the Nutella taste, but it was delicious with just the right level of sweetness that doesn’t overpower!
