EAT : Porkylicious meals at Naughty Nuri’s !

For all the pork ribs lovers out there, I’m sure you need no introduction to Naughty Nuri’s where you can find the best ribs in the world. To claim such and be known for having the best ribs in the world, comes with a heavy responsibility of upholding that. Whilst I was in Bali which was where Naughty Nuri originate from… I actually didn’t have the chance to try them out. But rest assured, we can get the same ribs they serve in Bali, right here in our homeland.

Signature BBQ Spare Ribs | RM 48

I have not met a person who didn’t like these ribs, it’s not hard to understand why. These pork ribs are imported from Spain, prepared using Balinese spices and their secret sauce, served with the BBQ sauce. The best way to eat this is only with using your fingers, it’d be an absolute crime to use fork and knife. The meat is tender, a gentle tug on the meat will have it falling off the bone which indicate how well the ribs are cooked. Porky lover, this is definitely not to be missed!

Signature Roast Pork Salad | RM 26

This is my next favourite dish and it’s easy to see why, with a generous serving of crispy pork skins and juicy roasted pork. To complement these sinful goodies are healthy salad, which will definitely help lessen the guilt of indulging in the sinful porky goodness. Other than salad green leafies, you will find purple cabbage, papaya, watermelon and boiled eggs together in this dish.

Grilled Hog's Platter | RM 40

If you need more porky goodness, this platter is the way to go. It doesn’t get anymore porkylicious from the Grilled Hog's Platter where it’s loaded with four different type of porky food; crispy juicy roasted pork, pork belly marinated in the Hakka style, Thuringer bratwurst sausage and Italian sausage. The dipping sauce is a unique blend of the Asian fusion; meet the sambal hijau mayo.

Balinese Ayam Bertutu | RM 35

| Acar-awak, sambal hijau and sambal dadakan |

If you missed Balienese food, you can get your fix here at Naughty Nuri’s too. Aside from the pork dishes served above, Naughty Nuri’s also have very delicious authentic Balienese food like the Balinese Ayam Bertutu and The Notorious Beef Short Ribs. These dishes are served with fragrant caramelized onion rice, together with sides of acar-awak, sambal hijau and sambal dadakan. For the true blue Malaysian, sambal  is a must to accompany our dishes, giving us the extra oomph!

The Notorious Beef Short Ribs | RM42

I found the Balinese Ayam Bertutu very appetizing, especially with the generous coating of spice paste which gave the chicken its flavour. It had a truly unique taste, one that is probably special to the Balinese cuisine. For me, it was love at first bite with the The Notorious Beef Short Ribs. The ribs were absolutely tender, yet packed with flavour. It was the kind of food which leaves you craving for more bites as you ate it. YUMS!

BBQ Satay Lilit | RM 26

The BBQ Satay Lilit is the Balinese equivalent of the pork stay, which is served wrapped around a stalk of lemongrass. This actually helps to infuse the meat whilst cooking, giving the satay a flavour of lemongrass. Definitely recommended if you like these flavours. Personally, it’s not one of my favourites but it’s worth a try if you haven’t had this before.

Mt Buleleng Inspired Sizzling Bacon Chocolate Cake | RM 23

If you love sizzling chocolate cake, you will be delighted to know that Naughty Nuri’s version of it called the Mt Buleleng Inspired Sizzling Bacon Chocolate Cake is delicious with a porky twist, with bacon bits in the cake. It’s topped with vanilla ice-cream to make the sizzling dessert experience a fulfilling one!

Ubud Style Sugar Refinery Bacon Banana | RM 18

If you’re more of a pisang goreng type of person, you’ll enjoy this Ubud Style Sugar Refinery Bacon Banana  where you’ll find bacon bits in your fried banana. This is also paired together with vanilla ice cream, making this dessert exceptionally sinful, but deliciously mouth watering! There are only these two desserts to try in Naughty Nuri’s, which is limited in option but bursting in flavours for both the options.

After my dining experience here in Naughty Nuri’s, I understand why there is often a queue at their outlets, especially during dinner time. So, do plan your schedule ahead and enjoy your dining experience. On the other hand, if you’ve always wanted to give Naughty Nuri’s a try, there is never a better time than now because they are running a lunch time promotion where selected items are on a 50% discount!  Alternatively, Naughty Nuri’s is also running a Snout-to-Tail Buffet, which is an ala-carte buffet of their Signature items. This is available at three outlets which are the Subang SS15 Courtyard, Life Centre and Atria branch.
