XIXILI unveiled the Spring Summer 2017 Collections in its 5th annual lingerie fashion show themed "Wanderlust, Come Away With Me" at Makespace, Quill City Mall. The fashion show was themed around a wanderlust soul who loves exploring and enjoys every moment of her life. There were in total 14 models who breezed through the runway styled with wide brim boater hat and dainty choker to take on that edgy style with confidence. The pieces worn by the models portrayed free-spirited wanderlusts enjoying moments, as well as the power of being comfortable in your own skin.
Taking from the brand's core purpose to embrace and uplift women of all sizes; the runway showcased a total of 56 lingerie sets from everyday basic wear to those for special occasions with an extensive of brassieres styles and lounge wear. This season's colour palette is dominated by beautiful shades of pastel pink, sweet ivory and champagne gold; colours which would be favourite pick for women alike.
This was my very first experience attending a lingerie fashion show, which is a very interesting experience to say the least. I loved how the models strutted down runway, with confidence and drawing attention to each of the pieces by XIXILI. It also lovely to meet Jenn Chia in person again, she's so sweet, adorable and multi-talented too! She actually surprised the crowd with an opening song performance "Tonight You Belong To Me" with her ukulele just before the start of the show.
